There is no dearth of talent in Pakistan and once again we have another moment to be proud of.
This Pakistani girl from Karachi who is just 12 years old has been selected by NASA for the internship.
Radia Amir, who is a student of 8th grade at British Overseas School in Karachi, always had this desire to go to space and learn about it.
She is scheduled to leave for NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida on Feb 16th where she will have the basic training for space. She will learn how to spend time in space.
Rida will spend one week at the Kennedy Space Center for her training. While sharing her sentiments, Rida said, “It was always my dream to visit and raise Pakistan’s flag at Kennedy Space Center”.
Stars have always inspired her and that she has asked the Pakistanis to pray for her.
Rida is not the only Pakistani girl who has made the whole nation proud. Does someone remember Sandhya Karamat Barlaas who never went to a conventional school and still she was able to score highest marks in A-Levels and O-Levels English examination and got admission in Cambridge?
